Circle West Lothian

Circle is a well established voluntary organisation which aims to support some of the most vulnerable children and families in Scotland. We believe that, by supporting families, we can improve the lives of the most disadvantaged children.

Circle West Lothian supports children and families in West Lothian particularly those who are affected by parental drug and/or alcohol use. Family support workers provide support that meets the needs of individual children and families. This can include:

  • Supporting parents individually and in groups so that they are more confident to look after their children at home
  • Encouraging parents to get help from other community organisations
  • Working with children, parents and schools to improve the school experience of children
  • Individual and group support to children
  • Encouraging parents to get support with their drug and alcohol problem. We will work closely with drug and alcohol services to make sure that parents get all the support they need

Supported by

West Lothian Council, West Lothian Drug Action Team, BBC Children in Need and Lloyds TSB
